Happy 4th. 大塚愛 - プラネタリウム for your inspiration with fireworks song.
I'm in the middle of arrangements to get experience with supply chain management and the likes in China around September. Blogging sites like LJ are blocked by the government there, but apparently I can still access them through CGI Proxy, although it'll be supar slow to use. I've no interest in messing w/ communism irl, so please just let me fangirl in peace ugh >___> Who wants to open up a Japanese import company afterwards 8D It's a long road~~~

今日の晩飯

Roma Tomatoes = ♥ .... quite literally
My messy tomatoes and eggs
Chinese Okra and mushroom - I've been using these mushrooms particularly often because H-mart has them really cheap. H-mart has just about all raw produce at the cheapest of... grocery stores I've been to here in general. It's great. But Uwajimaya is still the only one that carries the Taiwanese fruit-jelly cakes. Still, Ann Arbor's variety of Japanese snacks is like 15x bigger. I was rather perturbed.

From repeats:
The Big Read thinks the average adult has only read six of the top 100 books they've printed below.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them.

So many book-to-movies... A ridiculous amount of these I saw Wishbone stuff or movie adapatations of... Who remembers Wishbone~~~ XDD
And then for many of these books I read when I was too young mentally to comprehend what was going on... but when I discovered the joy of reading, I wanted to read so much even if I didn't get a bit of the story. ^^;;; Hhm, now that I've adopted very specific tastes in story, it gets much more difficult to stay interested in reading a lot of these...

Junjou 12 sub: Couldn't resist... XD We're doing the DVD special too, w00t BL~

Fangirling notes below, mostly OLDDDD ones:
-07-Ghost: I couldn't imagine anyone besides JunJun doing Hakuren's voice and I was very happy to see him voicing for the drama CD. Totally JunJun look. XD~~~~

-Some Luminous Arc 2 cam-screenies (spoilerrrr)~ I'm stalling on the 2nd playthrough once again. Saty's my strongest character at the moment. I love her move range... XD And I am very saddened that JunJun's character is not playable!! meganemegane!!!

-So I saw that the artist for the Onmyou Taisenki manga did Tales of Innocence manga.~ It was fun to see Sparda in his style, and Luca actually looks BISHIE. Hawt. But Sparda doesn't look so Sparda without his hat.

-Eeee Noji-nii's Scarecrowman is cuteeeee. This and Chi make me relive the beauty of touching children's shows.

-I've had this thought for a while, but I always wondered if the Kamiyan/Minami Omi Tama/No.502 duo was some kind of homage to the Black Blood Brothers bit where Kamiya was supposed to play Jirou, but then he had that accident... No, it's probably pure coincidence. Right? D8

-Gintama 113 is hideous and then amazing Miyazaki-ness and then dead in laughter. ♥

VERY NICE GINTAMA AMVS (nicovid on maintenance buuu):
ttp://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm3433707
ttp://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm3339689
ttp://youtube.com/watch?v=qJDIQzos5-I (recced by onkei_kun and it is GODLY)

The first two AMVs make Gintama look 1100% cool, and the 2nd one has a ... very special ending... XDDDDDD When nicovid comes back I'll spam the good ol' trinity x gintama vids too.

I need to figure out how to save videos off niconico now that they're getting stupid with their copyright protection reinforcement. Some of the really nice Gintama AMVs are gone already and I dunno where else to find them. >_> (search flv in this entry)

Oh yes, and these two pics were taken the night before I left for Washington state... She knew... I can't wait to see her again.
